Itinerary:
Day 01: Urus and Llanchon
At 7.00 a.m. aprox. We pick you up from your hotel to take you to the port of Puno, where we will take our boat to the Uros floating islands; in the course of the route we will see the wonderful Lake Titicaca and various wild birds. After arriving at the island we will meet the natives who are fishermen and hunters with whom we will share ancestral customs and their way of life, the locals of the Uros use the Totora reed (aquatic plant) which grows in the Lake, and create conditions that guarantee the Islands to float, after this tour we continue our trip to the peninsula of Llachon, We settle in family houses, after lunch with the family we will begin with our cultural activity and way of life. We also have the option of visiting the ceremonial centers of Akikarus sacred place for the locals. Typical dinner and overnight stay at Llachon homes.
Day 02: Peninsula Llanchon and Taquile Island
after breakfast, continue the trip to Taquile island, who preserve intact their traditions, customs and laws of the Inca time. Whose inhabitants are engaged in agriculture, handicrafts and fishing. In the afternoon we descend about 535 steps to the main port of Chilcano. We return to Puno to stay at your hotel.
